This PHP / MySQL™ form generator saves web developers TONS of time, paying for itself almost immediately.
What's new? This version supports the display of `n` columns in List mode + auto-generates links used to toggle the display of the remaining columns (for occasional viewing). Toggle links exist in phpvs_sakila.customer.php, phpvs_sakila.address.php, phpvs_sakila.change_log.php, phpvs_sakila.customer_list.php and a few other scripts. Some of the demo scripts lack toggle links because the tables have very few columns.
phpMyEdit works with MyISAM tables where MySQL™ column 0 is the primary key, or a unique key. phpMyEdit does not support multi-key tables or INNODB tables. Data used for this demo is a modified version of Sakila schema (converted to MyISAM type tables). For best results, your server environment should include UTF-8 character sets, MySQL™ Version 5.1+ with MyISAM type tables (not INNODB type tables), and PHP Version 5.3+.

What's included? Approximately 107 files in (7 folders) and the ability to instantly create forms used to Add, Change, coPy, Delete, List, and Search MySQL database records. Basically the file set amounts to 1 main script, 7-8 include files, 68 language label include files, 2 trigger file examples, 2 CSS files, and a basic Javascript date picker. No database schema is provided, other than the change_log schema, usage of which is highly recommended.
Variables common to all the phpMyEdit forms can be viewed at ./resources/inc/config.php (which also contains the database connection and some required functions). Users may want to redefine certain variables individually within the generated scripts (e.g. to increase the default record limit from 10 to 20 records in List mode). Options for the form generator were formerly displayed in an HTML form, which became cumbersome to maintain. Options for this version of the form generator are hard coded in an included .PHP script. A single (main) script is located above the /resources/ folder. The main script can be easily renamed to integrate into existing projects. Alternate, older versions of the form generator can be found here and here.
